Besides helping with gingerbread cookies at Christmas, my only baking experience has been making cupcakes a few months ago. Yes, my lack of baking skills is embarrassing, but I am trying to catch up now that I have a book full of cupcake recipes!
Last week, I adapted the recipe for chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter filling from "Martha Stewart's Cupcakes" book and the results were a big hit with everyone. Even my boyfriend's co-workers raved about them for a few days after getting a sample! They tasted like huge, fluffy Reese's peanut butter cups (my favorite!), so I will definitely be making them again in the future.
